Karma comes after everyone eventually. You can’t get away with screwing people over your whole life, I don’t care who you are. What goes around comes around. That’s how it works. Sooner or later the universe will serve you the revenge that you deserve.

    — Jessica Brody

Have you ever talked to yourself in solitude and asked yourself, how many mistakes you have made in your life? If you haven’t done so yet, do it today. Learning from mistakes and not repeating them gives you inner satisfaction and peace “My today’s story is about John and his grandfather which will make you realize that bad deeds are like a shadow that does not leave you even in the dark.”

Today is Christmas, all the children are enjoying it happily. Whereas John is quietly sitting alone sad. John’s father comes to him and asks him the reason for his sadness. Dad, “why is grandpa leaving?” Father’s mouth tugged in a faint smile when John asked this question. He said, son, “grandpa is going to meet his friends.”

Friends? but i didn’t know that grandpa has friends too. Yes my son, he has lots of friends and they are all waiting for him.

“But dad, who will cook food for him?” He is physically unwell, he cannot do household work. John’s mother said, “Son, there will be a cook there, don’t worry, all the facilities will be there. He doesn’t have to work there.

When John did not agree even after explaining a million times, then grandfather came and said.

“John, you were very young then. I and your grandmother came to meet you. We were about to leave when suddenly your grandmother’s health deteriorated and unfortunately, she passed away. Since then, I stayed here but now the time has come for me to leave, so son, now I have to go.”

Wiping his tears, John asked, “Grandpa, this is also your house, then why are you leaving?” If your friends are waiting for you, call them here too.

Patting Raju’s head, Dadaji said to himself, “I wish I could share my sorrow with you.”

After reaching the destination and seeing the view John tells his grandfather. Grandpa, “your friend’s house is very big and you really have a lot of friends, but grandpa, there is no air conditioner here, you will feel hot.”

John kept on talking one thing after another and grandfather kept on looking into his eyes.

John, come on, let’s go, your mom must be waiting for us, we also have to go to the party.  John did not want to go but he had no choice. While crying, he said, “bye grandpa, take care of yourself, I will come to meet you again.”

“Seeing John leave, grandfather could not control his emotions, he did not want to let John go.”

All the old stories flashed before him like a movie about how he and his wife used to play with John and take him for outings. “He was unable to understand whether he should tell John everything that was in his heart or say goodbye to Vansh forever.“

“Suddenly grandfather remembers an incident from the past, that night of 5th December.”

    He remembers:

How his father was not ready to leave his hand. He remembers how his father was requesting him, to stay overnight, son. Who knows what will happen tomorrow, to which his reply was, “The doctor is there, don’t worry.”

He remembers how despite his father’s repeated requests, he leaves his ailing father in the hospital in the harsh winter and goes to celebrate the anniversary. When he reached there the next morning, his father had died.

“He felt as if fate had slapped him hard. Darkness fell before his eyes. He regretted his action and started feeling guilty. He said to himself that my son has sent me to an old age home, but I have left my sick father in the hospital.”

“Be sure to spend time with your parents while you can, because one day when you look up from your busy life, they won’t be there anymore.”

The grandfather thought that he could not go back to his past and correct his mistake and bring back his father, nor could he stop his son from committing this sin.

    Grandfather thought to himself:

I don’t know how long I will be able to bear this immense pain, but today I am able to feel the pain that my father felt. I was angry with my son, he had forgotten his parents, I was a burden on him, I had also ended my love for him. I was blaming him for my situation but it was my father’s tears that took the revenge. “Even though the burden of this bundle of sins was heavy, I now understood that I alone was responsible for my condition.”

“The pot of sin bursts one day”

Hurting someone, being dishonest, taking advantage of someone’s helplessness, deceiving and cheating someone, all these things backfire. I would be so happy if I can change even one person through my article. Please let me know in the comment box below what changes you have made or are going to make in your life. Till then take care of yourself, stay happy.
