Today’s article will introduce you to the complex web hidden within the feeling of revenge. Once you get caught in it, it becomes difficult to get out of that complex web. In addition, revenge is an uncontrolled step towards standing up for oneself. Hence, revenge does not have any fruitful outcome, rather it has many branches that give birth to new revenge.
The September 11 attacks (9/11 attacks) are examples that show that there is no mercy in revenge and the avengers destroy the lives of countless innocent people.
The September 11 attacks (9/11 attacks):

- On September 11, 2001, American Airlines flight 11 taked off from Boston International Airport. The destination of this flight was Los Angeles. There were approximately 92 people on board the plane, of which 11 were crew members and 81 were passengers.
- About 15 minutes after the flight, it was discovered that five of the 81 passengers were hijackers. The hijackers take control of the plane by seizing control of it from the pilot and co-pilot, fly the plane straight towards the “World Trade Center”. and crashed the plane into the North Tower of the “World Trade Center.”
- After few minutes later minutes later, United Airlines Flight 175, carrying 51 passengers and 9 crew members,(excluding the five hijackers), departing from Boston’s Logan International Airport and heading to Los Angeles International Airport, was also hijacked.
- Once again, the hijackers overpower the pilots and co-pilots and take control of the plane. The hijackers once again turn toward the World Trade Center and crash the plane into the south tower.
- For the third time, two more planes were hijacked. One of these was American Airlines Flight 77, which had taken off from Washington International Airport. The plane was headed to Los Angeles and also had five hijackers on board. The other flight was United Airlines Flight 93, which was headed from New Jersey to California. Both flights were diverted to Washington, D.C.

- Flight 77 collided with the , “Pentagon building.” After the third crash, the entire airspace of the United States was closed. However, it was suspected that the target of the fourth plane would be the White House or the, ” Capitol Hill building.
- When the passengers on Flight 93 realized the plane was being hijacked, they tried to resist and the plane eventually crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
Who was behind the attacks??
The terrorist group Al-Qaeda was behind this attack and Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was the mastermind of this attack.
What was the motive behind the attack??
They wanted to take revenge against the United States for the following reasons:
US intervention in the Middle East-
- The United States was supporting action against Muslims in Lebanon and supporting Israel.
- Supporting Russia in crimes against Muslims in Chechnya and cooperating with Saudi Arabia by sending its troops to Saudi Arabia.
What was the result of the attack??
More than 3000 people were killed and more than 6000 were injured in this attack.
The results emphasize that the tendency to take revenge destroys a person’s ability to think and reason. As a result, he is attracted towards crime.
At that time the people on board the plane did not know what was going to happen to them, they were on their journey as usual. While taking revenge, every person becomes so stubborn in achieving his goal that it is ignored knowingly or unknowingly, and even innocent people may have to suffer the consequences.
I believe that taking revenge does not solve any problem, rather it also affects your mental health. However, not reacting to any action and controlling yourself is a bit difficult, but not impossible. Instead of this, you can choose a way in which you can show your strength to your opponent and also give him a befitting reply for his actions. So that he does not consider you weak.
I am not saying that if someone is harassing you, you should not do anything. Rather you should confront him and reprimand him. I am just emphasizing that no innocent person should become a victim of this.
What is my purpose in discussing this incident??
My purpose is to alert you:
If you are on this path knowingly or unknowingly then change the direction of your path because this path is not going to take you to your destination
If you want to take revenge on someone, then you feel that you should give him a befitting reply for the crime he has committed against you. Then in anger you end up committing a bigger crime than that.
As a result, when the opponent realizes that this response is more brutal than the action he took, he plans something new against you. Consequently, it will turn into a never-ending encounter. Moreover, it will also destroy your inner peace.
“The sum and substance,” of the entire discussion is that, “revenge is a path with no destination and an act with no end.”
