My article today will tell you how you can differentiate whether the love of the person who was, is, or will be in your life is true or just a pretense. In short, I will give you a fair idea so that you can differentiate between true love and fake love. Additionally, I will also tell you how to know whether a person’s love for us is the same as before or not. Today’s article is especially for couples, including both married and unmarried people.
Sometimes we are unable to understand whether the person we are living with is the right person for us or not. This means whether their love for us is true or not. I am going to explain this better through some points. So, let’s start
What is true love?
- Simply put, true love is about giving and not expecting anything in return. By giving here I mean love, care, affection and time.
- Every person who has true love for someone, without judgment, without self-interest, and without any gain, simply wants to see the other person happy. Every person who has true love for someone, without any judgment, without any selfishness, and without any benefit, just wants to be with his/her partner.
- One very important thing that you should keep in mind is that just because your love for someone is true, it does not necessarily mean that the other person will love you as much as you love them. When we love someone very much, we expect that he/she should love us as much as we love him/her, but in reality this is completely wrong.
- Loving someone selflessly does not only mean that whatever help you provide to them, you do not expect anything in return. Apart from this, it also means that if you love someone without thinking that he/she should love you as much as you love him/her, then that too is called true love.
True love always supports freedom:
Let’s understand this with an example.
Let’s say you proposed to someone, but the person you proposed to rejected your proposal. This makes you angry, and sometimes you even use abusive language against them.
So is this attitude correct? The answer is “no”
True love doesn’t imprison anyone, but rather gives them complete freedom. This means that if their feelings are genuine, they will accept the proposal, otherwise they will politely decline. Sometimes it happens that out of fear, family pressure, societal pressure, or even emotion, you say yes to someone. But such love does not last long. Rather, one day it turns into fake love.
I hope by now you have got an idea of what true love is.
What is the difference between true love and fake love?
One thing that is very important while differentiating between true and fake love is that you use your mind in the right direction. Sometimes it happens that we misunderstand people and automatically decide that the other person does not love me.
Therefore, I would request you that before being judgmental, you will have to be mature enough to judge the situation and any person properly and only then take any decision.
So, let us understand how to differentiate between true love and false love.
Do not get me wrong, but when someone loves you because of your bank balance, your property, or your looks, that’s not true love. In my opinion, that’s the biggest sign of fake love. Let us understand this with an example.
Suppose someone wants to marry you, and you ask them why he/she wants to marry you. If you get a positive answer, that’s fine. If you don’t, then understand that he/she wants to marry you for a reason he/she hesitant to share. Here positive means inner beauty which is one’s behavior which includes many characteristics. When the reason is money, looks or property, in such cases people feel hesitant in telling the reason and do not understand what to answer.
On the other hand, when the answer is inner beauty i.e. kindness, helpfulness, understanding and trustworthy behavior of the person, then the person gives his answer without any hesitation. I am not saying that I am 100% right. I could be wrong. But I’m saying from experience that this is what happens in most cases.
In some cases I have even seen that, even though the love was true, but as the reason for the marriage gradually diminished, the person’s love also began to diminish.
How do I know if someone’s love for me is decreasing?
There may be many of you whose mind might have had this question many times, so let us try to understand it.
1) When you are constantly justifying yourself. In short, you have to explain every little thing. You should understand that your partner’s feelings are not the same anymore. This means that love is waning.
However, when a person becomes obsessed with their partner, they tend to feel very insecure about their partner. As a result, they repeatedly ask for clarification from their partner. For such people, I can not say that their love for you is diminishing.
Here I want to make it clear to all of you that, I am also not saying that obsession is a good thing. You should understand and trust your partner and not make them feel that they are doing wrong by asking them questions again and again. Therefore, don’t misunderstand and don’t doubt him/her unnecessarily.
2) When a person loves someone from his/her heart, he/she definitely wants to spend time with him/her. When you do not get enough time from your partner, and you have to repeatedly request them to spend time together, then you should understand that something is missing in your relationship and the love is no longer the same as before.
I understand that it is hard to find time in such a busy life. But it is not so hard that you keep your partner waiting and do not spend time with him/her. I urge all of you to spend time with your partner. If possible, go out somewhere. This will give you more time together.
I would like to point out here that by spending time here I don’t just mean being together, but it also includes talking on the phone and communicating through messages.
Keep this in mind:
I am not saying that if every single person who shows the actions I mentioned, it is not always necessary that his/her love for you is waning. It is right for you to reach a conclusion only when a person has no solid reason behind doing so, otherwise it is absolutely wrong to misunderstanding someone immediately.
What I mean by “reason” is that if a person is like this from the beginning or is really very involved in his/her job, career or growth, it would be completely wrong to misunderstand such a person immediately.
